Historical Data and Reports
ORDSwatch keeps a history of your instances' health and events, so you can answer "was this instance actually reliable last month" rather than only seeing current status.
What's tracked
- Health history — periodic health check results over time
- Status change events — every up/down/degraded transition, always recorded (never sampled away)
- Process events — start/stop/restart actions and their outcomes
Retention by plan
Raw, per-check history is retained for a period based on your plan. After that window, only hourly rollups (used for longer-range uptime trend charts) are kept, for a longer period, before being purged.
| Plan | Raw history retained | Rollup history |
|---|---|---|
| Starter | 7 days | Longer-range trend only |
| Professional | 30 days | Longer-range trend only |
| Enterprise | 90 days | Longer-range trend only |
Detailed log history (as opposed to health/event history) is opt-in and volume-limited by plan — enable it under History → Log Retention if you want it stored rather than just streamed live (see Alerts and Logs).
Viewing uptime and events
Go to an instance's History tab to see:
- Uptime percentage over a selectable window (24h / 7d / 30d / custom, bounded by your plan's retention)
- A timeline of status-change events with timestamps
- A chart of health check results over the selected window
This view is available on Starter and above; Free plan shows current status only, without historical charts.
Exporting
Where available, use History → Export to download event history as CSV for your own reporting or compliance records.
