Install

Check the download, then install the server:

sha256sum ords-monitor-1.6.4-1.x86_64.rpm
sudo dnf install ./ords-monitor-1.6.4-1.x86_64.rpm

It prints the address and a setup code — open it in your browser. Then on each Oracle REST Data Services server:

sudo dnf install ./ords-agent-2.10.0-1.x86_64.rpm
sudo ords-agent setup

Upgrading? sudo dnf upgrade ./ords-monitor-1.6.4-1.x86_64.rpm keeps your settings and data. Step by step: Installation guide.

What's new in 1.6.4

  • Settings → Manage (Professional and up): browse and change ORDS settings globally or per pool, rotate the wallet password, list, open and recycle pools, and add or remove ORDS users — all from the browser through the agent.
  • Metrics is split into Overview, Traffic and Pools, with advice next to every tile that turns amber or red.
  • Saving configuration files now follows the plan, like the rest of Settings.

Manage needs agent 2.10.0 or later; older agents keep working for everything else.
